Rona

Rona from Pure Felinity messaged me back and I was thinking about what she said. She's right. (by the way I'm not explaining the whole thing so if you don't know what I'm talking about, tough luck)
I once said that Rona wasn't exactly my favourite mod. I didn't mean it in a mean way, but putting the "exactly" in it kind of puts a sneery attitude into the words. I take it back. I don't really have a "favourite" mod, so I can't say she's my favourite, but I no longer am "mad" at Rona (never was really), or, to reword that, on the defensive. We understand how each other felt (that sentence doesn't sound right for some reason) and she's gone for two weeks because of a family emergency.

I'm now officially working on the first stages of my new breed: clearing out my cattery. :D
I just bought a Zerdali Painted Cat because Egyptian Maus do not have long hair :( But this Painted Cat is gorgeous, an orangey colour ^^

Skating :D

Went skating today. The rink was chock-full of witnesses and we had a grand ol' time. I got a blister on my foot but that's the only bad thing. :D
I went to Sarah's for lunch and we had Lasagna and Cream of Chicken soup. And then we went skating. Then we had supper, which was Roast Beef, Potatoes and Veggies.
And gravy. That was some good gravy.
I'm talking to Chuck and Stesh on msn. Well, my time will be occupied doing that. Bye!

The textbook says that a molecule is a group of atoms in which the atoms are bound together by sharing one or more pairs of electrons.

Hm, apparently shared pairs of atoms create covalent bonds that hold the atoms together. Coolness.
It says Carbon dioxide and water are examples of covalent bonds. Well of course. Carbon dioxide is CO2, Carbon-oxygen2, right?
And water is H2O. Two hydrogen atoms and an oxygen atom. Or a hydrogen atom and two oxygen... *Googles*
According to Wiki Answers, there are two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen. I was right the first time :P

Anyway, for future reference: metal ions are positively charged, 'cause they lose electrons, and non-metal ions are negatively charged 'cause they gain electrons. Sodium is a metal (I didn't previously know that) and Chlorine is a non-metal. When combined to form a compound, sodium-chloride, Sodium loses and electron to Chlorine and becomes positively charged.
Oh it's all very interesting stuff!
Okay, so my textbook says that Chlorine gains an electron to become anegatively charged ion, and Sodium loses an electron to become a positively charged ion, and these oppositely charged ions attract. Cool =P
